Beth Wood is a modern-day troubadour with a stunningly expressive voice, poetic lyrics, and a unique, strong guitar style. Beth's music is soulful, organic, free-range, barefoot music delivered through a high-energy communicator of joy. After studying classical piano, violin, voice, and harp and earning a degree in Literature from University of Texas at Austin, Beth decided to throw caution (and her day-job) to the wind and become a full-time troubadour. Thirteen years, thousands of shows, seven albums, three cars, and numerous awards later, she has never looked back. Beth's exceptional musicianship, crafty songwriting, and warm stage presence have been winning over audiences from coast to coast. She now lives in Eugene, Oregon and tours nationally playing listening rooms, coffee shops, bars, festivals, houses, and the occasional yoga studio. Beth has won many awards, including the Kerrville New Folk award, and has released 7 CDs, her latest of which is called "Beachcomber's Daughter".

"A voice and songs this strong are bound to persevere."
